Thursday Thoughts

“Children are the past, the present, and the future all blended into one.  They are consummately precious.  Every time a child is born, the world is renewed in innocence.”

                                                                                                ~ Boyd K. Packer

I love that quote!

So this afternoon,   Charlie was quietly reading in my office, finding the hidden pictures in his Highlights and carefully placing the stickers in the correct spot.  It was so nice and quiet, and I loved watching him.

Meanwhile, this was what was happening in my kitchen:

Coloring on his hands, feet and face is the latest thing for the g-man.

dear fairy godmother,

please come and magically clean up this mess!   find all the little playmobile pieces and put them back together, find all the marbles that have scattered through out the house, and all the other umpteen toys that are out of place and making a mess in our home.  please also fold the laundry and put it away, clean the bathrooms and vaccuum if you get a chance.

yours truly,

~me
